COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Bottle shared @ Dean’s aged pale lager tasting, courtesy of Vaiz. Pours a hazy pale golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is fairly fruity, funky yeast. Schoolbook saison, but not doing anything extra here. Flavor is very yeasty, funky sourness. Well carbonated mouthfeel. Short aftertaste.. meh..

Pours cloudy golden, with a frothy white head. Nose is loads of dill. Loads. Some grain and a bit of sweetness too. Flavor is slightly grainy, some more dill, yeasty, a little dank, and a bit of sweet caramel on the mid palate. Finish is dry, a tiny bit tart and a little bitter. Complex, interesting, refreshing. Really good.

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold with full head and lots of carbonation. Aromas of lemon candies, light honey, and melons. Flavors are similar with a bit of white pepper and a light bitter finish. Fresh and clean. Very nice.

Draught Thick white head atop lively hazy straw body. Unusual aroma; unripe melon, green herbs, floral spice, some coriander seed even with a bit of underlying cereal. Light body, still alludes to some alcohol, lively but soft carbonation. Plenty of spice on the body; white pepper phenolics, aniseed, nutmeg/mace, light cracker biscuit malts. Finishes with lingering dryness, moderate bitterness. Odd combination. Without knowing too much about the hop, it would appear to be quite a funky beer.

Looks the business with light golden colour, lasting head/lace. Good CO2 Aroma of lemon grass, kaffir lime and slight coconut, with belgian farmhouse yeast notes. Flavour carries on the same with tangy, sprits citrus on the tongue.
