COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Pour is hazed deep golden yellow with a big, dense, and fluffy white head...smell is straw, vanilla, barnyard funk, and grass just pour out of the top of the glass...taste is lightly sweet up front with some bread dough and vanilla flavors...then an effervescence and grassy bitterness come in...turned very dry in the finish...seemed a tad over carbonated to me as that interfered with the flavors that were going on here...good.

Bottle pours yellow gold with a white head. Aroma shows notes of citrus (lemon), hay, yeast, bandaid, and a touch of white pepper. Flavor shows pretty much the same. Overall body is somewhat thin and the finish is lightly bitter.

Everlasting foamy white head, mildly hazy, incredible lacing, lively, golden color... A little yeasty, grassy, with mild spiciness in the nose, not a ton of belgian character... Grassy, lots of grassy hops, some mild medicinal flavors, a little yeasty, mild belgian character... Very very lively, super dry, medium bodied... Grassy Finish...

Thanks Reg! This is worth going out of your way to try! Refreshing citrus nose. A Lemon honey and pepper taste. Very refreshing! Sorry it cost so much.

Favorite beer of my monstrous tasting gauntlet. Cloudy yellow/gold beer with a lively, white head. Nose is full of hoppiness and citrus. Noticeably lemon. The taste is phenomenal without being overly complex. Bit time citric lemon taste, almost like a smooth lemonade, accompanied by some unoffensive floral hops and white grapes. Moderately high ABV is nicely hidden behind such a sweet tasting beer. So easy to drink, will definitely be buying more of this. I cannot recommend this enough, must try it out yourself.

Bottle. Pours bright fizzy yellow with a big foamy white head. Aroma is dry, champagne yeast with a touch of hops. Flavor is melon hops, with a very dry mouthfeel. Interesting brew.

very nice brew from Brooklyn (one of my favorites). Interesting hop flavor,. Excellent packaging, I know that shouldn’t matter but doesn’t it lend to the appearance? Good drinking beer.

It pours a hazy golden color with a huge fluffy white head. It has a ton of carbonation going on and tons of lacing. Oh yeah the cork comes out with a lot of force. On the nose a little citrus there is a bunch of floral. I am picking up a little touch of honey as well. With the flavor I am getting some good solid spicy notes .The same as the aroma a little citrus. The higher abv is masked very well. This is just done so well nothing feels out of place. Just so well balanced. It finishes with a little bitterness and dry but nothing too crazy.. This is the first offering I have had from Brooklyn so figured go big or go home. At $25 a bottle i feel it’s worth it and it’s new years eve. Granted I haven’t had many sasions to compare it with. But I may lick the inside of the bottle if I can i enjoy it so much. Do yourself a favour get some.

Bottle. Pours a hazy bright yellow with nice fizzy white head. Aroma is very herbal with some light citrus and farmhouse notes. Flavor is very much the same and a bit dry, nice light hop profile. Mouth feel is light body with fizzy carbonation. Overall, very enjoyable.
