COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

From a bottle poured a golden color with a good amount of head. Light crisp hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

bottle: initial pour has a huge frothy head. yellow and hazy, tending towards orange. Arouma is earthy, plants and yeast esters. Herbal funk, citrusy, slight must and lemony. Finishes bone dry, but full of flavor. Don’t even notice the abv.

This says 7.5% but wow this has burn up front that lingers. I am getting vanilla extract notes in the middle. A friend who had a sample just kept saying she was getting perfume notes. Very bubbly and hard to pour.

Wow, what a fabulous beer! Served at proper temperature. Poured with a good sized, white, foamy, frothy head that lasts a while and a bit of lace. Color is a clear medium yellow. Aroma is yeast, fresh hop that smells like weed, malt, grain, fruit and a bit of citrus. Flavor is similar but with the hop tasting only like fresh hop; good pungency which is true to style and a little sweetness in there to balance it all. Body is perfect mouth filling and almost champagne carbonation. Finish is like flavor and short except for the great burps! Wish I had more to make it a session. This is superb!

Bottle brought over by ketchepillar, thanks Sam. Pours a golden color with a good head and good lace. The aroma is citrusy and bready with some lavender. The flavor is spicy with a bit of cooking spice and some nice citrus. The beer is plenty dry and the bottle went away quickly between the two of us.

Hazy dark golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of tea leaf, grass, citrus, light floral hops, lemon, and some honey. Taste of grass, tea, lemon, spices, and a drier finish.

Bottle at Jimmack’s. Pours clear yellow with white head. Nose of spice, sage, citrus, floral hops and farmhouse aromas. Taste of similar characteristics. Interesting brew.

Aroma:Lemongrass, apple, spicy phenols, white pepper, sage. Appearance:Yellow in color, amazing head with ok retention, fair lacing. Taste:This beer is rather subtle. There’s a fair amount of white pepper flavor in the foretaste, along with mild lemon. The hops in this beer are a little spicy, and less bitter. Subtle malt flavors. There is a dry finish on the aftertaste, with minty notes. Mouthfeel:Light body, low alcohol heat. Very high carbonation. Drinkability:This is a refreshing, medium spicy ale with a lot of complexity. I really enjoyed this one.

Slightly hazy yellow, super thick head. Aroma is hops - lots of fresh hops along with "dark" spice. There’s a unique, bitter hops taste, some of which actually wants to remind me of some sake I’ve had, then an unpleasant alcohol feel followed by some better hops bitterness. The finish is very long lasting with a good bitterness to it.
