COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

My bottle [750ml] shared with garthicus, GregClow, tupalev, jerc & mabel. Pours a hazy yellow with an average size lasting frothy white head. Lovely aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, spices, pepper, yeast and light herbal hops -- man, I really like this. Flavour is yeasty, spicy and citrusy along with some light sweetness -- delicious and refreshing. Average bodied. Well done, I don’t understand some of the lower scores, I thought this was phenomenal.

Cloudy gold, big head, good lace. Funky nose, funk and bread and yeast in the mouth, with a hop that I don’t recognize. I like Garret’s big bottle corked takes on Belgians, but this one seems over-priced again. An interesting take on a Saison, made more interesting by the hop.

Smells of funk and spice. Soapy funk barn yard spice. Does that make sense? Probably not. Pours a cloudy yellow with a medium head, highly carbonated. flavor is highly spiced. Lemon balm, burnt orange, pepper corn. Palate is clean, smooth, interesting. Very tasty.

Nice pop when the cap was lifted. Pours a hazy lemon yellow with a big frothy meringue like head. Spicy fresh lemony aroma. The flavor is lightly sweet with peppery, spicy lemon. Light and refreshing.

Poured from bottle. Color is a brilliant yellow-gold with a long-lasting, white head. The nose is lemon, toast, lemon, some funk, and, oh yeah, lemon. Taste has malt, lemon, and a clean hoppy bitterness. Palate is clean and prickly. Damn, Gina, this is a good beer.

From a bottle poured a golden color with a good amount of head. Light crisp hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

bottle: initial pour has a huge frothy head. yellow and hazy, tending towards orange. Arouma is earthy, plants and yeast esters. Herbal funk, citrusy, slight must and lemony. Finishes bone dry, but full of flavor. Don’t even notice the abv.

This says 7.5% but wow this has burn up front that lingers. I am getting vanilla extract notes in the middle. A friend who had a sample just kept saying she was getting perfume notes. Very bubbly and hard to pour.

Wow, what a fabulous beer! Served at proper temperature. Poured with a good sized, white, foamy, frothy head that lasts a while and a bit of lace. Color is a clear medium yellow. Aroma is yeast, fresh hop that smells like weed, malt, grain, fruit and a bit of citrus. Flavor is similar but with the hop tasting only like fresh hop; good pungency which is true to style and a little sweetness in there to balance it all. Body is perfect mouth filling and almost champagne carbonation. Finish is like flavor and short except for the great burps! Wish I had more to make it a session. This is superb!
