3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle from Total Wine Kennesaw, GA ----> snifter. Pours hazy dark orange with huge frothy white head. Aroma is floral/spicey hops and a bit of alcohol. Palate is a little flat for a saison, with a little lacking in the carbonation department. Hop flavor comes through really well and there is a mild sweetness and yeasty on the back end. I would prefer a little more bite, but this is a highly enjoyable beer. This is my first experience with a sorachi ace, so I have no frame of reference on that end. Wouldn’t hesitate to reccomend this one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap 5 oz. sample at Pizza Paradiso in DuPont Circle, Washington, DC.
Clear, sparkling yellow with small white head and minimal lacing.
Mild aroma of lemon hops and yeast.
Taste of honey and earthy yeast with a dry, astringent finish. Not bad, but where is the classic Sorachi lemon/lemon grass flavor?? Hmm.
Medium/light body and light to soft carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours light slightly hazy straw. Decent billowy white fluffy head. Very subtle aromas of grassy hops and a little yeast. Flavours show some more of the yeast character, a little resiny hops and a decent whack of sour orange. Nice stuff.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This Cork and caged bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a extremely large sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated slightly hazy yellow colored body. The aroma was mild hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The soft flavor contained notes of mild dough floral and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle. Slightly cloudy yellow-golden colour with huge frothy white head. Floral yeasty aroma dominates grassy and citrussy hop notes. Taste is even better balanced, beside the floral yeast and hoppy flavours a fruity orange note, spicy orange and lemon zest find support in a strong enough slightly sweet caramel malty basis.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Grassy, floral citrus hops, bready malt aroma. Funky Belgian barnyard became apparent in the aroma as it warmed. Golden with a large thick creamy head, which clung to the sides of the glass with little to no diminishing. Grassy, floral citrus hops flavor, extremely well balanced by bready, yeasty malt, and some spice. Medium body, high carbonation. Fantastic beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This beer pours like a hoegaarden, pale with thick, frothy head, most likely a result of priming with champagne yeast. The aroma is spicy, bready and citrusy. The taste is such a smooth and refreshing lemon saison that you just want to keep drinking.
