COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Golden pour with hardly any head. Mouth is medium. Taste is full of tropical fruit. Sweet at first but finished bitter. Aroma is a little muted. Slightly spicy. The alcohol in this was really well hidden.

On tap at the Knick. Fresh grassy hop aroma with light grainy notes. A very distinctive nose on this with mild sweetness. Medium golden clear with white thin foamy lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Medium sweet start with fresh oranges and orange peel. Oaky with mild vanilla. Spicy herbal hop note with light bitter finish and bitter sweet after. Smooth saison with nice flavors.

750ml bottle. Mostly orange amber with a generous off white head that settles with some spice evident on the top. Saki, spice, grass, bit of spice and slight funk, bit of citrus hops. and an odd combination of oak, vanilla, orange zest and yeast - something unique in a saison. Sweet and fruity, becomes quite tropical, bit of an alcohol hit, low carbonation on the palate even though there is a lot as it comes out of the bottle.

Bomber bottle. The aroma is very fruity and hoppy. The appearance is cloudy gold with a thick, frothy white head. The taste is almost fruity while going straight hoppy. The palate is a light hoppy. Overall, this is a good beer. Well done, this a great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Numbered label 0402, Iíve had this since about June. The initial pour is bright, golden orange with effervescent, egg-shell colored foam, gradually settling into a thin sheet but no real lacing. Smells of lemons, oranges, some damp grass. Itís lightly sweet and biscuity in flavor. Finishes very dry and bready with gentle bitterness. Itís a delicious saison, on the brighter, bubblier side; notes of belgian funk and sweetness, but lively on the carb and a little thinner palate than traditional.

Pour is a bright yellow with a large white head. Aroma is very lemony with some dank mustyness and some yeasty flair. Flavor is more citrus with a nice farmhouse funkyness. Some oaky vanilla tannins follow after the swallow. Not very hoppy but it has enough things going on with it. Would be great with some aged blue cheese. I have been waiting to try this for a long time and it did not dissapoint. Soild saison.

Clear golden colour with a large frothy head. Lively carbonation. Barley, hop aroma with hint of sugar cane. Very light on the palette. Refreshing beer. Sweet yet has a crisp bitter finish. Tangy citrus.
