It pours a hazy golden color with a huge fluffy white head. It has a ton of carbonation going on and tons of lacing. Oh yeah the cork comes out with a lot of force.
On the nose a little citrus there is a bunch of floral. I am picking up a little touch of honey as well.
With the flavor I am getting some good solid spicy notes .The same as the aroma a little citrus. The higher abv is masked very well. This is just done so well nothing feels out of place. Just so well balanced.
It finishes with a little bitterness and dry but nothing too crazy.. This is the first offering I have had from Brooklyn so figured go big or go home. At $25 a bottle i feel itís worth it and itís new years eve. Granted I havenít had many sasions to compare it with. But I may lick the inside of the bottle if I can i enjoy it so much. Do yourself a favour get some.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
THOUGHTS: Nice and lemony. The sorachi ace is a very interesting hops. There was something more to it than just the lemon, especially in the aroma. It reminded me of a saison version of Duvel. The lemon was almost a little overpowering. Sometimes, to me, lemon water ice eventually tastes a little soapy and this bordered on that, but kept from getting annoying. A great beer, but a little pricey. Iím wondering if blending some Duvel and Saison Dupont could get me something close on the cheap. This makes me think my next homebrew might be a saison. It is a style that Iíve never really appreciated because it is not clearly defined, but I started to gain an appreciation for it this summer.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, very dark yellow to light orange with a huge, rocky, somewhat meringue-like, white head that left fair to good lacing. The aroma had light to moderate, light bread and biscuit; moderate to heavy, floral and lemony hops; moderate yeast; some spice and underlying peach pear of plum. The initial flavor was slightly sweet, rather acidic and lightly bitter; while the finish was sweet, acidic and bitter. There was lemon, peach, doughy yeast, biscuit, more lemon, and slight spice that may have just been the carbonation. Overall, the flavor had a nice balance to it. The light to medium body was very dry with very fizzy carbonation and a dry and slightly metallic finish.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured a cloudy golden hue with a thick white head. Barnyard aromas, some grassy hops and a slight astringency on the nose. Flavor profile had good malt notes, some lemon notes and some bread notes. A yeast quality. Hops seemed different. It had an odd bitterness that seemed to offset the malts. A nice carbonation.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
The beautiful aroma of sweet and floral notes with soft earthiness like a spring morning. It pours bright golden and thick with a big beautiful creamy head. The body is medium and smooth with subtle sweet and spice that tingles on the mouth from the champagne yeast.
