4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Smells incredibly floral. Pours with a lot of carbonation and is a very clear gold. More bitter than sweet on the palate..actually no sweetness really. Slight soapy taste. Very, very smooth. One of the smoothest beers I’ve ever had. Nice..

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle, shared with Billy after moving a freezer, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. 26FE12.
App.: Hazy light golden with a large fluffy, bright white head.
Aroma: Rich, pungent, slightly dank, lemony, slightly metallic, a little biscuit, slight funk, slight yeast, quite refreshing.
Palate: Medium body, fairly soft effervescence.
Flav.: Nice biscuit, yeast, Belgian-esque esters, nice green, lemony, peppery hops, really friendly and refreshing; dry with limited bitterness and pleasant esters/light fruitiness in the finish
Beautiful. I could handle an entire deck of this.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear golden-orange with a humongous, frothy, cream colored head that just doesn’t go down and leaves fairly thick lacing. Aroma of lemon, earthy funk, banana, grass, and corn. The taste is very lemony, also yeasty and earthy; a little sweet and a little bitter. Light-medium bodied and slick, with surprisingly little carbonation in the mouthfeel, and a mildly bitter finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750mL bottle: Pours a bright, hazy yellow, with a large white head, built with larege bubbles of CO2 which keep pouring. Aroma of lightly citrus hops, earthy yeast and fresh grass. Taste is slightly spicy with grassy and citrus hop notes and a complex array of yeast and hop tones layered nicely. Palate is bubbly and slightly astringent. Decent flavor overall, similar to champagne.

I drank this flat out of a recorked bottle....so I am being gentle on it. Banana flavored. Sorachi hops are delicious.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft. Yellow/golden color. White head. Great lacing. Taste is another story. I have to preface that with I’m not a big Saison fan. I think a Saison is good for beer #3 or 4 when you lose your palate.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured into a tulip glass. Cloudy straw color with a finger and half of white head. Just wonderful looking.
The smell is a super mix of malt candy and grapefruit and sharp lemon zest.
Sharp bitterness from beginning to end; strong lemon and little lime. There’s a malt backbone there, but barely.
It’s like drinking a cloud. It’s light and fluffy texture, medium carbonation. Incredible.
An amazing drink, sipping on heaven.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Served on draft at the Cloverleaf Tavern in West Caldwell, NJ. Pours a bright golden color with a rocky white head that disipates rather quickly. There’s only modest funk on the nose with some white pepper, bready malt, and hay. The flavors are wonderfully balanced and rich. Sweet to open with some dry spices to close. Very refreshing saison. Makes me want to try and brew one.
