Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

A nice and refreshing saison. Aroma was big and strong. Heavy hops, lemongrass and a hint of funk. Pour was a light bubbly, hazy gold with a one finger small bubbled head. Taste was great as well. Very dry and bitter in the front. The heavy earthy hops are dominant with just a hint of sweetness in the malt. Lemon and other citrus are heavy and after the swallow there is a hint of grass and hay. Slightly funky, but not bretty. Heavy carbonation bites the cheeks. Delicious, crisp and refreshing

Golden to yellow color with a high frizzy crown. Aroma of citrus and hints of corn. Very smooth saison with tones of citrus and the typical belgian saison.

25.4 oz bottle. Opens with a loud pop, pouring a cloudy orange with a craggy white head. Nose is yeast, pastry dough, pear and lavender. Just lovely, evoking a country herb garden. Chewy, oily and resiny with zippy carb. Taste is honey, Orangina, basil and grass. Maybe a bit heavy for a saison but overall tasty and fun with an old world feel.

750 ml bottle. Aroma is very strong citrus, some light funky notes. Beer is very well carbonated to style, white head lasts seemingly forever. Taste is tart, lemongrass flavours with other citrus. Not getting much of the saison funk coming through the strong hop flavour. An interesting saison, showcasing the Sorachi Ace hops very well, but the usual funky flavours are lost.
