4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
The pour is a light hazy yellow body with a thick three finger off white head. Huge carbonation in the body with some thick frothy lacing. The nose is very spicy (coriander, cloves, pepper) with an overall floral yeast note and a light woody note. Citrus esters and a bready malt on the nose. This smells alot like a dry white wine. The taste is sweet in the middle with a big citrus component with a very dry hoppy finish. The spice profile is very present with a big coriander and estery taste. There is a bit of an alcohol note on the finish. This is a very unusual beer with a nice spice and fruit profile with a dry and bitter finish. overall, this is a great Saison from Brooklyn.

A nice effort, beautifully packaged. The japanese hop works well, imparting a nice spicy fruitiness. Fairly light in color with just a bit of haze. refreshing and delicious.

Thanks for drwoland for bringing this to the Proof tasting! Medium gold pour, nice white head. Tart lemony aroma. Slight sourness to the taste. Nice, lemony flavor with some yeasty notes. Mouthfeel has a nice spritiziness to it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
11/2/11. 750mL bottle. Slightly hazy golden pour with a nice off-white head that sticks and laces a bit. Somewhat light aroma of lemon peel, hay, and pale grains. Sweet flavor with a bit of dusty grains, lemon peel, some pear, and lingering funky fruitiness. There’s also a touch of lingering dryness that also reminds me of honey. Not too shabby!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, bought @ Systembolaget, Halmstad.
Pours light golden with a big, staying, frothy, white head. Aroma has plenty of white pepper, bubblegum, mushrooms, apricot, crisp maltiness. Spritzy carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, crisp malts, still some bubblegum. Dry bitter, floral, peppery bitterness in the finish. One of the best Sorachi beers? Probabaly.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: Citrus peel, candied ginger, and grass fill my nose.
Appearance: Ever so slightly cloudy. Straw gold with a bright white head that lingers. Tiny bubbles slowly migrate to the top of the glass much like champagne.
Taste: Lemon. Lots of lemon. Very unique. Some grassy notes as well. There is a slight metallic character that comes in far behind the citrus. As the label states, "it tastes like sunshine in a glass", and I couldn’t agree more.
Palate: Amazingly light for such a strong brew. Very well attenuated and dry without being thin. The carbonation is reminiscent of champagne.
Overall: This is a good toasting beer as elegant as the label.

Absolutely Brilliant. This pours hazy yellow with smalls constant bubbles. Nice head. Aroma is just a tease for what is coming in taste. Taste is almost a creamy citrus...lemon/orange. It’s a bit sweet but perfect for this brew. The finish is fantastic. Dry and leaves you salivating for more. Sometimes you drink a beer that you never want to see end....this was one of those.

Bottled sample consumed at Avenue Pub. Gold in colour with strong carbonation. Aromatic profile starts with lemon-lime hops, crispy pilsner malt, and wraps up with some black and white pepper notes. The lemon-lime and dry pilsner malt character follows through on the mouth, picking up some wildflower honey and subtle spice elements along the way. Light bodied and dry on the palate. Very appetizing. One of the better North American takes on the style, although not quite to the level as Hill Farmstead.
