3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy appearance, good start for a saison. Funky aroma and flavor, but a light palate, with notes that strike me as a little vegetal. Not a saison that I enjoyed very much. (bottle at Ale Jail beer festival, September 2012)

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; A USA brewery with a Japanese hop producing a Belgium Farmhouse ale quite a mix there. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head, decent carbonation. A floral spicy taste with a hint of Hubba Bubba. I like this best Saison i’ve tried.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Lemon aroma, cloudy medium bodied Saison with a light bitterness with flavors of pineapple and citrus. Well constructed offering from Brooklyn. Sweetness is just right, hops flow well with the yeast strain.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Brass CIty Brew Fest. Pours a golden body with a white head that provides nice lacing. What makes this saison stand out from others is its sorachi spiciness. The spiciness provides a kick that pairs nicely with its smooth and creamy mouthfeel.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
a light aroma with grain and some light spice and apple. the flavor disappoints a bit. Not what you expect from a saison. mild and creamy with light spice and an odd bitterness. the finish is light with a bit of spice. It has all the makings of something good it just doesn’t do exactly what a saison should.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 ml. bottle- Pours hazy golden with a two finger bone white head that is slowly receding. Aroma is moderately funky, lemony, very yeasty. The taste is most notably creamy, floral and again yeasty and lemon, the funkiness is less in the taste, but is there. Alcohol is very well hidden, but does leave a mild warming feeling letting you know this technically isn’t a session beer, although I could drink it all night. I would love to try it with some cheeses, swiss or other.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft - Bright white fruits on the nose and a yeasty sweetness. Cloudy orange/yellow with a thin head. Tastes of citrus, peach and grass. The high carbonation actually goes well with this style and would be my beer answer to the Mamosa. Very dry but refreshing and nice.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Väldigt uppfriskande och god. Fruktig med tydlig belgisk karaktär. Frisk och fruktig smak, smak av belgisk jäst. Välbalanserad.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A - pours unfiltered medium grade grade darker amber apple juice. Has a high fluffy big bubbled head. S - interesting hard to place tropical fruit aromas up front ( the serachi hops?) Belgian yeasts, oaky notes, citrus peel, cloves, lemon. M - medium bodied lighter palate. Fairly simple but good. Light alcohol warmed end with mild bitterness. T - nag champa up front. Strange but good. Belgian yeasts, grassy and hay notes. Fresh orange and lemon peel and cloves. Simple vegetal end. O - pretty good different but flatter and simple. 6+
