COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

One of the tastiest beers I’ve had in a while. The beer pours a slightly hazy yellow with a very big fluffy head that laces and stays around. The aroma has some lemon and maybe a hint of birch. There is some grass along with a yeasty earthiness. The flavor has the lemon tart along with a good deal of root beer. It has a nice light character that goes well with the warm weather. The finish is very dry and refreshing. Nicely done.

Beer pours golden with a nice tight white foam. Powerful nose of citrus and pine. palate is wow, spicy notes, cedar and complex hop notes. Awesome beer right here.

had wanted to try this for a while now. Dark gold pour with a huge white foamy head. aroma is earthy yeastiness, tropical fruit, floral, herbal/coconut tones. Again with the herbal/coconut in the flavour. floral fruity, corriander spice. Light bready malt under that. Overall it’s a nice saison for a good price. Am still kind of on the fence with the sorachi hop.

Men lækker lækker øl.

Hazy straw/gold color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of yeast, rich floral/fruit, & some citrus; Flavor of slight sweet malt, yeast, citrus (notably orange & lemon), pepper hops, and spice; Finish is dry; High carbonation; Very good overall - well made.

Small glass from the 750 ml bottle at the brewery. Brooklyn, NY.
Clear yellow colour with big white head. Sweet fresh fruity aroma with bitterness, yeast, caramel sweetness and citrus. Sweet caramel, yeast, fresh fruits and pleasant bitterness in flavour. I could drink the whole bottle.

Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a thin bubbly white head. The Aroma is hay straw funk and herbal spice. Flavour is a little light and medium bitterness also yet citrus and spice notes.

Sample at Gallo’s tap room. The beer is a murky orange color with a medium off-white head. Citrus, pear and yeast in the nose. Light body with flavors of zesty oranges, herbs and yeast. Some breadiness too. The finish is fruity and I caught a distinct bourbon note on the exhale in the aftertaste. Above average overall.

Thanks to Brother John from Ember Gastropub I got to enjoy a bottle. I’m not a huge fan of this style but, this one is fantastic. Bready aromas and yeast on the pour with an effervescent quality. Lemony, grassy, sweet, some funk, and a herbal element. Not sure about the "new" hop’s role in this refreshing brew. Brooklyn has enticed me to buy this beer again.

750ml bottle Pours a golden straw, quite hazy, white head. Very spicy, herbal aromas. Citrus peel, coriander leaves, mosquito repellant (in a positive way!), yeast, wheat, malt, apples, and a nice, almost funky undertone. Dry, light to medium bodied, medium bitterness, balanced CO2. Spicy, herbal taste, citrus, yeast, wheat, grass, coriander leaves, white pepper, slightly funky/farmyardy. I really like the mix between traditional Saison style, and a modern hop variety.
