COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

My first experience with sorachi hop. Very interesting beer . Important and intensive . Flavor fruity , lemon , spice and a lot of hop. Evident high fermetation with complex aromqs of yeast. Full body. I don’t like specially because the bitterness is too dry and aggressive. I will wait to drink again.

This is literally the beer worlds answer to champagne! Lovely and effervescent with tons or aroma of lemongrass, lemonpeel, orangepeel, grapefruit and spices. The flavor is definately hoppy, without being overpowering like in an IPA. Flavors is of white wine, lemongrass, spices and citrus-flavors ! Really delicious!

Coolest. Label. Ever. It says it all, this beer is an Ace. Heaps going on here in this cloudy, light straw soda with its massive frothing ’fro. Honey, white wine, coriander, wheat and french vanilla all kick it together in the basement of a mansion. Mildly sweet and bitter, dried apricot taste swirls around amongst the background booze of this bubbly beast. Surprisingly chompy and sporting a dry finish. Damn.

Best saison I've had. Yellow pour from 22oz bottle on back deck. Sweet fresh lemon aroma. Taste is crazy. Complex. Coconut lemon floral candy and bubblegum. Never had anything like it. So good

This beer had a lot going on, which makes it very fun to rate. Poured a cloudy light straw with a massive creamy head that hung around. Aroma was of floral hos, basement, honey, spices, and a little vinous. Tastes of citrus, honey, spice, floral hops, herbs, and even a little pissy, but good piss. Was a little boozy with a dry finish. Body was thick and chewy, much heavier than expected. It left a sweetness on the tongue and a nice warmth in the belly. Really fun.

Draught at Mother Kelly’s, Bethnal Green on 30 August. Poured a light hazy golden, with a dense white head. Aroma of bread, palma violets, Sorachi Ace and apricot. Yeasty ester flavours, with bread dough and nectarine. Finish was soft fruit, chalk and mango.

Bottle poured into a duvel tulip.

A - Pours golden yellow with a huge three finger tall white head with great retention leaving sticky white lacing down the entire glass.

S - Smells of lemongrass, black pepper, lemon rind, citric hops, light must, and wet earth. It has a lot going on for itself without being overpowering.

T - Starts off with hints of lemongrass, chewy wheat, strong hop bitterness, light must, and some peppery spice in the finish, combining some light dryness to linger on the pallet for some time.

M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. The feel is all over the place, from chewy to fruity to down right dry, combining into one interesting feel. Very nice.

O - Overall this one is very nice. It has lots of different flavors going on but still remains very drinkable. I wish I had a few more of these stashed away for the future.

Really enjoyed this beer and would definately revisit it although my freinds tell me its better draught. A good aroma that remided me a little of the nelson sauvignon. A nicely dry character with a citrus tang and touch of caramel malt. It was excellent with cheese and salami. I hope to get the draught experience sorted before too long. Lovelly.
