Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

At Soba. Floral zasty lemon aroma. A slight bitterness from the hops. The lacing is perfect all the way down the glass.

Hazy yellow color with a foamy and frothy head that stays long. Smell of yeast, hops, fruits and a bit of citrus. Very similar, fruity taste with smooth hops end. Average carbonation. Good balance and very refreshing, excellent

Look; pearl bubbles, no hue, hay golden slightly hazy body. Aroma; sweet flowers, lots of leaves, mild ale’ish bitter. Taste; flowerbed earth, dirty caramel, spices and old leaves. Some grains, hops n pale malts in finish. Palate; normal. Overall; weird side tastes. [35.5cl brown bottle, crown cap, abv7.2%, BB.nrdbl. B@AlkoMuonio]

14.11.15-Flasche 0,355L. Gold mit kleiner weisser Krone. Geruch modrig, verfault. Überreife Ananas, Gewürze - irgendwie eigenartig. Sorachi Ace- nicht mein Ding.....

Bottle from giant eagle Pickerington. Nose is citrus and spice. Light bodied and smooth with bit of crisp sharp hop bite. Some off putting raisin and strange spice doused moldy wet cereal flavored ruin it for me. Will leave the rest for tigers to try and see if they like better.

Tap at MDM Michael Mina. Liked this, big bold Sorachi hops, the ABV is well hidden and the beer is refreshing with a big Sorachi hit.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear yellow to golden with a medium but fading white head and an aroma of banana, grapefruit, lemon, yeast, fresh spices, wet earth, vinegar and hops. The taste is medium sweet with a nice hoppy finish. This is a really nice beer.

Lemon-juice colored with a fluffy white head and plenty of lacing. Nose is spicy with hints of liquor. Starts highly-carbonated like champagne with a smooth mouthfeel and a lemony, mildly hoppy finish.

35,5cl bottle@Sir Winston Churchill Pub, Oslo in tulip glass@approx 5 degrees C (too cold). Pours hazy golden yellow with a thin layer of white foam wich quickly disappears into little clots. Pleasant strong hoppy, fruity aroma with some earthiness to it but also a little sourness. It is in the taste that this beer becomes outstanding. The Sorachi hop, which I have not experienced before, is interesting with its fruitiness mixed with a not unpleasant hint of burnt rubber and a little dill and citrus fruit as well! May sound strange, but it all hangs together in my mouth even adding a certain sweetness on my lips. Just on the border of being a little sour in the complex dry taste with hoppy bitterness kicking in especially in the exceptionally long aftertaste. Medium body and hardly any carbonation - the beer could use a little more fizz. A pleasant surprise and I had to go back for one more.
