Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

On tap pours hazy gold with small white head. Bready nose with hints of dull earth. Taste is same with addition of flower and faint clove. Slightly less than medium body. A treat with fish tacos.

W aromacie cytrusy, trawa cytrynowa. Barwa złota, mętny, kiepska piana. W smaku podobnie jak w aromacie. Cytrus, trawa cytrynowa. Mocno nasycony, aż szczypie w ustach. Bardzo ciekawy saison.

Hazy pale yellow brew. Light and quite fizzy, refreshing, yeasty and with a dry finish. The hops are a bit thin, as are the spices. It is what it is, a pretty good hot summer day brew.

From growler into a tulip glass pours cloudy orange with a little head. Earthy smell of hay. Earthy taste a little lemon after taste finely carbonated like a sparkling wine. Not a bad says on especially considering it was 9.99 for a growler

Pours a cloudy light gold with minimal head that dissipated quickly. The aroma is difficult to describe since there are some notes I don’t usually smell. I can detect some lemongrass, funk, a little spice and earthiness. Taste is lemon, yeast. The finish is bitter, dry and crisp. Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Interesting.

Sampler at the Shadyside Giant Eagle at the Brooklyn booth. Very pleasant and smooth. Loved it!

I can see why Anastasia, of the Beerists says this goes well with any food. Good nose. Hoppy bitterness is well balanced and doesn't build or linger. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Cloudy medium amber with a long-lasting white head, cobwebs of lace. Taste is lemon citrus and malt right from the beginning that grows through the palate to a finish that is lightly spiced and shot with enough citrus hops to keep things well-in-hand. A solid, palate cleansing, balanced and great tasting brew.

64oz growler into tulip at 45°. Muted cerealy aroma. Hazy light-golden appearance, with a small white head after a fairly aggressive pour. Hoppier taste than I was expecting. Aftertaste of banana and clove. Would have guessed it at ~5%, alcohol is well-disguised. Overall a pleasantly hoppy saison/farmhouse.

New 12 oz. (reportedly not bottle conditioned). Pours a slightly hazy straw golden with a decent sized eggshell head that hangs out and leaves some spotty, dripping lace. Nose involves fresh flowers, lemon zest, underlying passion fruit, a dash of peach, some borderline sulphuric sourdough (I like sulphur), maybe a hint of vanilla. Fairly sweet, decently bitter, a touch tart. Medium to light bodied, somewhat creamy, fairly oily, active, with a lingering grassy drying bitter finish. Quenching, refreshing, well-constructed, $10 4-pack, can’t bitch.
