COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Couleur or pâle, mousse blanche abondante et épaisse. Le nez est citronné, sur les levures, quelques notes épicées. Bouche sèche, bonne amertume, beaucoup de levure, un côté "paic citron" un peu désagréable. Longueur moyenne, peu aromatique, sur l’amertume. Un peu décevante au final.

Really enjoyed this beer and would definately revisit it although my freinds tell me its better draught. A good aroma that remided me a little of the nelson sauvignon. A nicely dry character with a citrus tang and touch of caramel malt. It was excellent with cheese and salami. I hope to get the draught experience sorted before too long. Lovelly.

Draught keg at The Rake. Lovely lemon, summery aroma, crisp lemonade & elderflower flavours sharpened up by the saison yeast, and with the effervescence giving a great finish.

Pale color with a sharp yeast flavor and hop aftertaste. You can definitely taste the champagne yeast. Kind of reminds me of Duvel Tripel hop. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap@Mother Kelly’s, London (RBESG) - pours fuzzy golden colour with a white head. Fruity citrus zesty aroma and taste, prominent lemon, slight spicey sorachi in there, yeasty. Interesting.

Pours a hazy gold with white head. Has a sweet lemon, orange, wheat and yeast aroma. A slightly watered down taste but still sweet with citrus, wheat, yeast and some grains. A dry aftertaste.

From bottle at Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Pale yellow, hazy body, with a small, frothy, white head, that disappears quickly. Intense aroma of citrus and orange peel, spices, some green apple, herbs. Taste with about the same aromas, but not as intense. Mouthfeel is medium, oily, with a medium carbonation and it finishes dry, sour fruity and spicy. Very good, although nothing outstanding. A typical Saison, with nice spicy and sour fruity notes. Easy to drink, the ABV isn’t noticeable.

Transfer from BA review on 11-28-12- - Served on tap in a 10 oz chalice glass Appearance – Served a yellow-orange colored brew with a one finger fizzy white head. The head faded quite fast leaving only a light amount of lacing behind. Smell – The aroma is fruity and yeasty. Lemon and orange greet the nose with some highlights of tropical fruits mixed within. A yeasty smell brings with it some pepper, grass and a spicy note. Rounding out he smells are some notes of a citrus and floral hops. Taste – The taste begins with a lots of the fruit that was detected in the nose. Orange and apple create the bulk of the fruit taste up front, but are joined by tropical notes as the taste advances. While upfront the yeast is on the tamer side, it grows rather strong more toward the middle and the end. With the yeast comes a peppery and grassy/haylike taste more classic of the farmhouse style. At the end with flavors that the yeast brings getting stronger a yeasty, sweet, haylike/grassy and sour fruit taste is left to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the creamier side but yet maintained a rather crisp feel. The higher level of carbonation only accentuates the crispness, complementing well the tart and fruity flavors of the brew. Not too shabby. Overall – A very nice drinking and flavorful brew. I would definitely recommend, as it was a nice blend of funky, smooth, citrus, and sweet. One to give a go to if you get a chance.

Pretty good saison. Nice aroma but left a bit of a funny taste. I will chalk it up to having to many kinds of beer in one night.
