COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

750ml bottle - thanks mjs!
Pale orange, large frothy head. Eww coconut aroma. Some perfume. Tastes like a tart’s handkerchief. Gets way worse as it warms, gets oilier and oilier with coconut oil. Carbonation high, quite fizzy. Apple finish, even some pear. More pear later. Would probably have been OK without the sorachi ace, but then it would have been a different beer.

Bottle shared by Eline @ Van Moll Brewpub. Lightly hazy yellow to light orange color, full sized white head that lasts for quite a long time. Aroma is lightly malts, sorachi ace is clearly present, lightly a hint of yeast. Taste lightly malts, some yeast again, sorachi ace again, a touch of orangepeel, slightly zesty, lightly a soft bitter finish. Decent body and carbonation with that 7.6% ABV pretty well hidden.

Bottle, bought @ Systembolaget, Halmstad.
Pours light golden with a big, staying, frothy, white head. Aroma has plenty of white pepper, bubblegum, mushrooms, apricot, crisp maltiness. Spritzy carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, crisp malts, still some bubblegum. Dry bitter, floral, peppery bitterness in the finish. One of the best Sorachi beers? Probabaly.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a large, frothy white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (straw, bread, hay, meal), heavy hops (citrus), and average esters (fruity) with notes of key lime and barnyard. Flavor is average malt (straw, bread, hay, meal), heavy hops (citrus), and average esters (fruity) with notes of key lime and barnyard. Light body, low warmth and creaminess, high carbonation and a dry and biting finish. Very nice ale! Sorachi Ace hops are excellent.

Served on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a vazy orange-lemon color with a thin creamy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Big citrusy aroma with lots of bread and some stone fruits and caramel. Taste is peach, citrus, banana, bread and lots of earthy and herbal notes with a faintly metallic finish. Softly carbonated, fairly dry and medium bodied.
