COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Beautiful dark amber color. Memorable for the weirdness in aroma and taste that I related to burnt electronics.

Slightly cloudy yellow with a huge white head that lingers and clings to the glass. Nose has yeast, hone, lemon zest and other citrus notes, some light toffee and vanilla as well as some coriander and light pepper. Well balanced light sweet front and a medium light tart middle and end with a complex spice throughout. Mouth is medium light with prickly carbonation and finishes dry and crisp. Interesting.

75cl bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow, with a huge white head. Interesting aromas of weeds, bubblegum (which I understand comes from the Sorachi Ace hop), banana, lemongrass. Taste: medium sweetness, lightly sour, hints of spices and citrus fruits. It’s got a thick mouthfeel and a short, bitter finish. Very nice.

Thick white head, and a slightly hazy pale orange colour. Complex yeast aromas, with real lemon zest edge. Feels creamy in the mouth, with a dry and spicy finish. An elegant , world class beer, that deserves to be sipped and slowly appreciated.

75cl Bottle pour@5e Mondial de la Bière, Mulhouse - SO. Creamy, misty beige pour, contaminad grape/almond juice/milk. Intense canned gooseberry, Delmonte grapes, chalky lemon in aroma - did not pick up on any wild components here. Very elegant yeast profile, making up for much of the luxurious mouthfeel, although never a saison: a rich and dryhopped golden ale instead. Layered orchard fruits in taste: apricot compote and yellow apple juice, not cloying too soon. Remarkably executed monothematic golden ale.

Well done, great pairing at the beer dinner in Las Vegas, wonderful aroma and flavors... just the right amount of hops.

30/VIII/14 - 33cl bottle from a trade @ Cybu’s veggie burger cook-off, paired with my smoky black bean burger - BB: III/2017 (2014-958) Thanks to mike_77 for the trade!

Clear blond beer, creamy yellowish irregular head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: citrus, bit funky, grapefruit, yeast, barnyard. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: exotic fruits, lychee, soft bitterness, sweet touch, kiwi, lemon rind. Aftertaste: little sour, funky, kiwi, citrus, little dry, grassy, nice bitterness. But a saison? Nope.

This is literally the beer worlds answer to champagne! Lovely and effervescent with tons or aroma of lemongrass, lemonpeel, orangepeel, grapefruit and spices. The flavor is definately hoppy, without being overpowering like in an IPA. Flavors is of white wine, lemongrass, spices and citrus-flavors ! Really delicious!

Coolest. Label. Ever. It says it all, this beer is an Ace. Heaps going on here in this cloudy, light straw soda with its massive frothing ’fro. Honey, white wine, coriander, wheat and french vanilla all kick it together in the basement of a mansion. Mildly sweet and bitter, dried apricot taste swirls around amongst the background booze of this bubbly beast. Surprisingly chompy and sporting a dry finish. Damn.
