Aroma of light sweet malt, floral and citrus hops. Taste is slightly grainy and dominated by citrus hops. A little thin on the mouthfeel with a fair amount of bitterness. A good Summer ale. gunhaver (1044), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Good break from the usual styles of summer seasonal beers. This is a lightly complex, tasty ale. Light, airy biscuit aroma with fresh nuts and plenty of floral/grassy hop notes. Clear golden copper color with a lasting 1/2" white head. Moderate lacing and tight carbonation. The body is malty, but not too heavy with a complimenting bitterness. Drinkable to boot, this could be enjoyable throughout a warm weekend. Fresh, doughy malt flavor backed up by some nuts and caramel. Light, spicy, grainy flavors balanced out by noble hops along with a touch of citrus. The flavors are all mixed together in a nice subtle fashion. Well done Brooklyn for a seasonal that is off the beaten path. Ron (1040), Rochester, New York, USA

Taste is sweet with notes of honey and wheat. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly sticky with moderate carbonation. Not as ’Summery’ as other Summer Ales I’ve tried.

Clean, dry end. Body is light with crisp carbonation. Good for hot weather consumption. jefcon (1009), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 30, 2007 Golden and fairly clear with a diminishing white head. Grass and light grains, with a bready, raisiny sweetness. Full hop bite, vaporous center and a dry malt finish which, while very natural, isn’t special. kidmartinek (1004), austin, Texas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 16, 2009 A real dichotomy here. Where do I start with this one? Pour this beer and it’s golden pale yellow with little to no head. The smell is like fuggles and amarillo hops, my least favorite and second most favorite respectively. It has that bland but bitter english malt taste we all know and hate and is a little sour-doughy on the backend. Very bitter aroma. The finish and aftertaste are sweet. Too bad I bought a pint of this and not the sour I sampled.
