Taste is sweet with notes of honey and wheat. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly sticky with moderate carbonation. Not as ’Summery’ as other Summer Ales I’ve tried.

The aroma is of crisp citrus with a bit of yeast. The flavor is a bit bready with a clean crisp finish. It was actually a very nice tailgating beer for a summer baseball game. kp (8600), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Faint sweet nose of wheat, apricots, biscuity malts, light spices and faint and candy sugar. Sharp and just barely acidic, overall a bit sweet and mild, with flavors of star anise and sweet grains, but again overall it’s a farily light beer. Nothing too exciting. Gold in color with a fairly big frothy white head. Malty, bready aroma. Flavor is predominantly malty wit hsome hops dashed in there, but with this interestingly dark spicy character ... alomost like toasted peppercorns. I dunno. If this had been a blind taste test, I would’ve guessed brown ale. Tasty little beverage at any rate. Optigon (562), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
