2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
I can appreciate a lighter ale now and then, especially during warm weather. However light it may be, it still needs to have some redemptive characteristics. I was unable to find any in this ale, as the aroma and taste left a lot to be desired. Slightly better than an adjunct inclusive macro lager, if that’s what you’re after. Another lame brew from the East coast.

You know, porters and stouts are just as refreshing on hot summer days. That being said, I just popped the cap of this bottle from Market Street Wine Shop Uptown and poured it into a tulip glass. Clear, boring gold with a small white head. Aroma of grasses, citrus, other fruit, perhaps peach. Taste isn’t bad at all. Lightly sweet grasses, bread crust. However, just because it isn’t bad doesn’t mean this is a standout or anything I’d ever seek out.

Bottle at Locus Publicus. Orangey golden with thin white head. Sweet grains, floweriness, nectar. Light sweet, light bitter. Nice smooth oily texture, low carbonation. Nice flowery refreshing.

Smells cheap and tastes cheap. It's comparable to just about any domestic macro. Pretty disappointed.

Cereal and a touch of lemon on the nose. Gold color with a frothy white head. Sweet up front. Bread, and more bread. Bitterness is light, pilsner like with notes of pepper. Light mouth feel. Finish is balanced and quick. Beer for pounding in the summer....not much too it but not bad.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear golden color with just a bit of white foam. Aroma is light and hoppy, mostly with earthy and citrus notes. Taste is also hoppy, citrusy, slightly astringent. A bit of malt sweetness in the background. Aftertaste is hoppy and dry. Light body with crisp carbonation. Really easy to drink, refreshing ale.

Very light body with a fresh taste of malt and a nice bitterness from the hops. Perfect beer for the summer.
