3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The beer pours a gold color with one-inch long lasting white head. The aroma is good. It has a clean pale malt and wheat scent that’s refreshing. There is a bit of yeast fruitiness present. The taste is decent. Sour finish for an English Pale Ale. It is refreshing but unexpected. Good clean hoppy finish. This is a simple brew that’s quite tasty and easy drinking, especially during the summer. The mouthfeel is good light with good carbonation. It is a low bodied beer with good carbonation. Very drinkable. A nice offering.

Light, sweet, and inoffensive, which is just what you want from a summer beer. It’s not exciting at all, and it’s a little too malt-forward sweet to be called balanced, but it does a good job of just being a beer to drink on a hot day.

Draft. She’s of sweet corn with a light citrus note. More hppy than expected but not overpowering. Light and refreshing but not deep on the flavor which is mostly citrus hops and sweet malt.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Copenhagen 9/7 2016. 33 cl bottle from Netto. Brooklyn Brewerys usual design in light blue, yellow and red. The ABV should be 5,0 % (and not 4,5). Pours clear yellow with white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma is fruity with citrus, peach and fermented fruits. Light carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is pretty light and quite watery. Light sweetness followed by medium bitterness. Not much to the aftertaste. Probably fine for a lunch or to a snack - but cannot stand alone.

Bottle in Edinburgh. Hazy yellow colour, medium white head. Nose is citrussy with light sourness. Taste is fresh, citrussy and light. Shame it’s 15 °C here and not 35, as it would be much better in 35.
