The floor malts give this beer a juicy malt character of considerable depth, 55% malted wheat gives it a surprising lightness on the palate, while our house ale yeast lends a gentle fruitiness. The Oxford Companion will impart knowledge, while The Companion imparts conviviality. Maybe you really can have it all?

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 6 May 2013) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, apricots and honey. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, apricots, marzipan, candy sugar, hints of roasted nuts and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Quite well balanced, with alcohol well hidden. Nice one.

Quite sweet on the nose. Fruity, some butterscotch. Taste is grapes, honey, lychee, some pine and peach. Really a mix between a Belgian Double and white wine. Quite good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy gold with attractive lacing. The hue and carbonation makes this beer seem to have an internal warmth to it (which matches the warmth you get from drinking it, for sure). Honey and hops on the nose with a bit of fruitiness. It feels soft and full in the mouth but finishes a bit like a hard cider, if that makes sense. Very abrupt with little to no aftertaste. This is totally a wheat beer - soft and supple in flavor with a bit of sweetness that isn’t too syrupy or heavy. The flavor from the hops is still there and the alcoholic taste isn’t harsh at all. Overall, a very pleasant brew that, unfortunately, I don’t think they’ll make again. It just doesn’t mesh with what I think a lot of people have in mind when they see something from Brooklyn.

draft. Pours a golden color with a lacy white head. Notes of honey, candi sugar, grass, and flowers. Not bad but doesn’t do well as a barley wine.

Nice dark and thick pour. A good bit of dark fruit flavors mix with what seems like heavily roasted malt. Nice
