COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The floor malts give this beer a juicy malt character of considerable depth, 55% malted wheat gives it a surprising lightness on the palate, while our house ale yeast lends a gentle fruitiness. The Oxford Companion will impart knowledge, while The Companion imparts conviviality. Maybe you really can have it all?

At lovin cup total tap takeover. Was surprised to get a 16 oz bar glass on a night of specialty glasses and for a strong beer. Very sweet but not as sickly sweet as some. Dark gold appearance with decent retention. Malty notes in the nose. The highlight is the complex palate. Fruity spicy caramel toffee and more. Nice

Draft. Orange pour with white head. Spices, light sweet malt and yeast aromas. Sweet yet spicy flavor with spices and light sweet malt, fruit and yeast like tones.

Brown pour, beige head. Lots of upfront malt, wheat, some glazed donut, light hops. Caramel malt up front, light bitterness, some notes of apple cider.

Interesting beer, it has a golden color with plenty of yeast, wheat and some fruitiness. Good, but not great.

Big old beer with a ton of aged character. Nice looking with a huge head and quite sweet. Lots of vanilla and cotton candy. Overbearing but still pretty good.

Tap. Golden in color, has an off white head. The smell is heavy wheat, fruits, some yeast, and ok. The taste is yeast, fruits, more wheat, and sweet.

On tap at Blackthorn Pub, Holly,MI...Beautiful golden straw color that when held up to the setting sun’s rays was like a priceless jewel. Surprisingly thin for a 9% ABV brew and so lightly carbonated that the mouth feel was nearly flat. However, a very drinkable, somewhat sweet wheat wine with some subtly complex flavors...I liked it.

Has kind of an apple juice vibe going on, both in appearance and the light fruity notes in the aroma and taste.
