COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There was a time when all beers were aged in wood and yeasts ran wild and converted together. Modern brewing is wonderful, but sometimes a little converting is a fine thing. Brooklyn Wild Streak is our barrel-aged Belgian-inspired golden ale enlivened by the earthy funk of wild yeast called Brettanomyces. It’s particurly great with cheeses and game meats. Oh, go ahead. You know you want to.

Hazy amber color, moderate head, decent lace/retention. Aroma is bourbon vanilla sweetness with notes of toast, bread, alcohol. Medium bodied, moderately alcoholic, barrel flavor dominates. It’s kind of ok, except at the price tag.

Hazy light tan, has some mellow tartness, sweetish with a little brett. Overall it’s not bad. Ok but a bit muddled.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, wood, vanilla, and funk. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruits, wood, brett, and a bit of vanilla, leading to a dry finish.

Craft Clerkenwell. Bottleshare. Almost clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and slightly soft, decent fine carbonation. Light sweet malts. A pleasant champagne and grape vibe permeates throughout. Mild cpice and a little generic fruits. A slightly savoury finish. Quite champagne like.. Nice.

Light orange and cloudy. Fizzy white head. Lightly sour, orange peel, Meyer lemons, yeast, hay, hints if a grassy/herbal flavor as well.

Bottle at Craft Clerkenwell, thanks to Kenny. It pours hazy dirty blonde with a thick white head. The nose is soft, sweet, oily, light funk, vanilla, red apple skin, candied peel and sweet white grape. The taste is sweet, earthy, candy, orange peel, apricot, white grape, bread, icing sugar and mild funk with a sweet finish. Medium body and high carbonation. Far from what I was expecting. Less wild and more sweet. So-so.

Bottle share at CBC Clerkenwell, thanks to Kenny. As ’Brooklyn Wild Streak’, 10%. Hazy dark orange, small foamy white head, dotted lacing. Aroma is apple, booze, sweet liqueur, touch earthy. Body is medium to light, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is champagne, touch of apple peel, booze, soft bitterness, no real sourness. Mild drying brett character, but not too much complexity from it. Just OK.
