Oct 5, 2008 Pours a ruby copper brown with a one to two finger frothy light tan head. The nose was malty, a little raisiny, peaty, some grassy hops, sweet malt.The flavor is malty, peaty, some grassy hops, chewy bready feel, raisiny, some alc showing, mild sweetness. Chewy crisp mouthfeel. In all actuality not that bad.

Sep 8, 2008 bottle poured a red amber color with a one finger off white head with decent retention. aroma has a malted body with clove, mild citrus hops, metalic, and oddly earthy moss. mouth feel is light with lower carbonation. flavor is malt sided with a bit of metalic, again earth, and bitterness. seems a little muddled and perhaps is not the freshest.

Jul 19, 2008 Bottle - 355ml. Dark amber body with a good beige frothy head. Nice sharp hoppy aroma with oaky and flowery hints. Its hoppy taste is well balanced, but could be more complex. Ends with a decent bitter finish. Enjoyable "everyday Ale".

Jul 18, 2008 reddish brown color, decent foam. Nose is very malty some toffee, some hops not strong though as should be for the style, some smoke. good thick mouthfeel. Nice beer.
