Dark golden colour with white dissapering head. Aroma is wheatmalt. There is not so much flavour in this one. Aroma and flavor of light clove, yeast (dough) and banana. Avg duration. Smooth finish. Thin texture. Moderate carbonation. Spare lacing. Teege (71), Orlando, Florida, USA Oct 6, 2009 Draft at redlight redlight. A subdued German style wheat. The nose is floral with hints of tropical fruit. The flavor is mild, crisp, and pretty nice. Maybe a little too subdued for advocates of hefeweizens, but as I don’t drink them very often I like it. KyotoLefty (1370), Kyoto, Japan Sep 4, 2009 Bottle. Medium amber color. Estery aroma, with banana and other fruits, very yeasty, with a bit of earthiness. Rather thin palate, and not very rich flavor; banana, clove, a bit tart and acidic as well. Ok, but not great. ladnewton (200), London, Greater London, England Sep 3, 2009 Draught on 24th July 2009 at Blind Tiger Alehouse, NYC. Hazy yellow with rocky white head. Citric flavour throughout leading to a tangy citric finish; notes of cerial in early aromas, and generally quite acidic in my experience. Brandman (86), Helsinki, Finland Aug 24, 2009 tap on brewery. hazy yellow body with white head. aroma has wheat and usual bananas, but lighty. flavour is too thin for a weizen, at least to my taste. has no strong malty backbone.
