Commercial Description:
Brooklyner Weisse is a Bavarian-style wheat beer, unfiltered and chock full of spicy esters that evoke hints of cloves and fruit, some say even bananas. The beer is made with a traditional weizen yeast strain. The malt mix is half malted wheat and half barley malt. The hops are Perle, from Germany. Bitterness is low to medium.

Bottle. Golden hazy colour with a nice flyffy head. Fruity wheat aroma. Flavour of yeast, wheat and hops, little sourness. A good weisse brew.

Slightly cloudy with no carbonation.Lingering but gentle wheatiness. Not a bad wheat beer just a bland one. Dissapointing.

Draught. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Sour, wheaty nose with touches of banana. Flavor is citrus/lemon, with a dash of banana over a malt body, maybe a hint of a dark, peppery spice. Light bodied for a wheat. Vert tasty, though.

Pours pale golden with good white head. Aroma is fruity and quite sweet with a flowrey hoppy feel. Flavours are yeasty with good sweetness. Mild bitterness though.

Bottle. Light golden body. Flavor almost like a belgium wit and quite spizy taste for a weisse. Nice example of its style.

Bottle. Pours a light golden body with a small white frothy head. The aroma is spicy - mint, pear, and bread. The flavour is actually reasonable for an American implementation of a German style. Dusty yeast - kind of astringent breadiness. Fruit character is subdued in the shape of banana. Hints of clove spice provide some refreshment. Pretty good.
