Bottle bought at Zythos Beerfest 2015. Pours hazy dark blond to orange with a big white head. Well carbonated. Nose: citra, hops, notes of fruit, minimal notes of caramel. Taste: citra, marzipan, malts, spices, medium bitterness, hops, notes of fruit.

Artisanal Wallonian micro brew with big rocky, off-white head which quickly collapses but leaves nice lacing; colour a deep orangey peach blonde, misty but becoming more brownish (and milky) when the ’fond’ is added. Yeasty, dusty nose with fruits (orange, melon, pineapple), flowery hops, honey, white pepper, coriander, hints of rhum and sherry; taste combines a soft and mellow maltiness with a dryish, subdued fruitiness, low carbonation and therefore a bit watery, gentle spiciness and flowery, medium long finish.

Shared a 75cl bottle from a local friend. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a fluffy white head. Yeast, grain, hops, fruity and spicy aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is balanced, medium bitter and medium sweet, with some astringent notes. Overall, a very nice brew. I like this kind of beers for an everyday drink.

22nd August 2008. Cloudy orange beer. Quite frothy but low on carbonation ! Soft with a semi dry finish. A little wheaty malt and that’s about it! Not much going on here. Dull!

A Mes rate: bottle at the ever brilliant Chris O’s Pre GBBF Extravaganza.
Hazy amber with a big frothy head. Muddy yeasty notes. Some faint tartness. Sweet finish. Very dull indeed.
