dark ruby-brown colour, big creamy head, aroma of old apples, cellar and dust + something unpleasant (fermentation problems ?), sweet and quite light-bodied, the finish is sugary with more notes of apples

Bottle 75cl.
Clear light to medium amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, damp-stained, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081122]

75cl, exclusive brewery, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex brew, yet easy to drink, not balanced, hazy, small head, nice brew

Clear brown with large beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hints of chocolate. Sweet flavour with roasted malt and caramel notes.

Bottle, 7%. Slow gusher. Dark brown colour, tiny floaties. The flavour is malty and caramelly, hint of fruit, perhaps a little green apple. Not that interesting.

75 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours almost clear and golden amber with a fully gone head. Vague malty and slight roasted aroma. Sweet malty flavoured with a light bitterness showing through alongside a mild acidc touch from the spices. Medium dry and mild spiced finish.

Bottle@Home. Dusty aroma with some malts and pretty chemical. Hazy, brown color, beige head, good lace. Light sweet, sourish, bitter, chemical, laurel, light rusty. Amateuristic and unbalanced.

Bottle, 75 cl. (@ home, with Paul Vdb) Dark brown with creamy off-white head. Aroma yeasts, sweet, peach. SMedium bodied. Taste = sweet with liquorice, roasted malts, a bit complex. Nice.

Bottle. Cloudy brown colour, miniscule white head. Somewhat barnyard-skunky sour aroma with faint roasted chocolaty malts. Dryish, fruity flavor with hint of lightly roasted chocolaty malt.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2006 [Bottled] Dark brown with creamy head. Aroma of pineapple and peach. Sweet with soft mouthfeel and medium body. Plenty of marmelade with notes of coffee and mashed apples. Very interesting.

Bottled. Hazy amber colour with big fluffy off-white head. Aroma is barnyard, a bit yeast and dry fruits. Flavour is barnyard, yeast dry fruits and raisins. A bit watery palate though.
