Jerre (1347), Waregem, Belgium Aug 24, 2007 Bottle, 75cl (bought @ brewpub Brootcorens self) Taste today with Davy and Glenn by Alvinne.
Hazy dark golden color with a white head. Aroma = very buttery-hoppy with floweryhints, but also and a bit spices. Medium body. Taste malty, hoppy, good bitterness, a bit slicky and little alcoholic. Aftertaste = hoppy. Pleasant, lovely drinkable blonde.
Good brew ! sayravai (3045), Helsinki, Finland Aug 28, 2005 (Bottled, 0.75l) Hazy deep golden color with a smallish, lacy head. Quite pilsnery-grassy-buttery-hoppy aroma with flowery and grassy hints, but also sweet-honeyish malt and mild spiciness. Slightly wineous, lemony and toffee-malty flavor with aromatic-hoppy, dandelion-flowery and grassy toffee-malty, mildly acidic finish. Long, salty and hoppy aftertaste. Alcohol is well hidden, unless you shake the glass and smell. Medium-bodied, very smooth, yet bitter and slicky palate with balanced carbonation. The yeasty part is quite smooth and delicious. Not the most complex, but very pleasant, lovely drinkable and classy blonde. Well done! Bov (4623), Bienne, Switzerland Jun 4, 2005 hazy orange colour, big and firm creamy white head, strong grapefruity and yeasty aroma with notes of caramel, tart and acidic with a high carbonation, solid bitterness, long and very dry aftertaste of raisin and apple - surprising bierkoning (4716), La Tropica, Netherlands Oct 9, 2006 Honey blonde, big frothy head. Lemon, soap and pepper in the aroma. Hoppy, oily citric flavor. Malty, creamy bit a bit on the thin side. Strong hoppy citric aftertaste. Very well made, this beer, the rough edges have rounded well. oberabcbbsok (679), Hoboken, Belgium Oct 3, 2007 On bottle 75 cl. Head is first large and after 15 minutes no more head, even not pouring more in the glass. Nice and hoppy tast, some bitterness and spices in the taste. Good beer
