Glass bottle. Hazy brown, with a muddy feel to it in colour. Some caramel and honeylike smell in the aroma. The flavour is sweet with a sticky feel to it. Great to combine with ham around christmas or as a refreshing brew in the summertime. A part of historic heritage ’round Vaasa in Ostrobothnia. I like it alot but then again I’m kinda biased since I’ve worked at the brewery a couple of summers and ’round Christmas break as I grew up. Try it...

Bottle. Moddy amber colour. Awful aroma of meat. Also flavour of meat and vegstables, very strange flavour endeed.

Well, the beer definately isn’t the best of the best in terms of flavor and aroma. I have to agree with the rest of the jury by saying, that this beer has a rather odd aftertaste - resembling that of rotten fish and that salty water they use to preserve pickles with. The beer is quite cheap and plentiful (3,99 € / 2,75 litres), though, and thus should be considered a good choice for students and/or other budget-drinkers. Otherwise, though, don’t bother with the stuff.

Plastic bottle. Shared by chis _o at papsoes place. Orange/ brown colour with a n off-white head. Aroma is sweet and fishy with berries. The flavour is the same. Horrible.

Bottle. 50cl plastic handbottled, shared by chris_o at papsoe’s place. It poured at hazy, orange-brown body with some off-white head. The nose was mostly rottening fish, and the flavor had a horrible fishy taste mixed with berries. It was thin and watery as well. A horrible drink, I thought Chris and Henrik was pulling my leg when they presented it as beer. What a rating-whore I am to rate it. (070510)

Bottle. Thanks to chris_o for sharing No head and no lacing. Worst looking muddy amber colour ever seen. The aroma was way off with notes of raw meat and a mix of sweet malt. Medium bodied with a flat carbonation. Flavour was light sweet. Sweet and raw meat finish. Awful tasting low alcohol beer.

(Plastic hand bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of chris_o. Pours a hazy, amber golden with a rough, off-white head. Tart, berry like aroma. Thin and watery body with very odd and unclean fishy accents relieved by....strawberry accents! Odd indeed and I’ve never ever had anything quite like it. And I can say I don’t really want to either. 100507

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2007 Bottle courtesy of oh6gdx. Pours brown with some sparse bubbles. Smells of corn, tea, stale cereal and unfermented wort. Tastes of saccharine and sugar with some fuity hints. Reminds me a bit of malta goya but way more flavorful and polished.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2010 (handbottle on 25 ml. plasticbottle, thanx oh6gdx) Yeah, I´m really giving this alot of credit, but I just loved it from the start, wish I could buy it i DK. Reddish and semi hazy, no head and small debri on the bottom of the bottle. A mixd aroma; partly red grape and appleleafs, partly x-mas spice like cloves and all-spice. Very soft and very velvety mouthfeel; odd, yet plesant. That taste stil puzzels me. It remindes me of something I still can´t put my finger on, damn. You know that feeling? The nearest I can get in a tasediscripsion would be: wasabi nuts mixed with roséwine..yeh, just that. This must be what a barley pop would taste like; and I loved it.
