Taste at Brothers Drake from a 750ml bottle. Nice clear pink orange color. Good mild raspberry, mild honey flavor... Flavor is more mild overall, including a more mild honey sweet bite to it. Following with the theme, the ABV is especially well hidden on this one too. It’s almost as if this is thing is a bit more watered down relative to the other offerings I had on tap, as far as both flavor and alcohol taste. Medium-plus body. Smooth texture, lightly slick. Little to no carbonation. Good, interesting mead. This one hides the ABV exceptionally well.

750 ml bottle to taster at the meadery. Looks good; a still, transparent pinkish orange. Smells solid; lots of raspberries and mild honey. Tastes like it smells with a lightly tart, dry mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Bottle shared at Lightening Day. Thanks! Pours a nice glowing cranberry blush hue. Gentle faint haze. Frothy offwhite head dies to a small film, laces ok. Aromas are gentle tartness, raspberry, mellow carbonation and dryness. Touches of earth, clover, and mellow dryness grows. Initial is dry, well fermented with honey, clover, faint sweetness is quite fleeting. Firm raspberry skin, touches of gentle fruit. Some honey, clover and florals. Middle is dry, light and a bit warm. Backend is a touch tannic, warm, honey, and some gentle apple. A bit warm, a bit spicy and some ABV life. Finish is a bit warm, thin. Meh. This is ok, a bit rough around the edges.

Pours clear rose (pink) color with no head. No lacing, no carbonation, and strong alcohol/some raspberry aroma. Taste is alcohol and raspberry. Too much alcohol for me.

Sample at the tasting room. Pours like a Rosé wine with some bubbles around the edges and sticky legs. The aroma is berries and honey. Medium, dry body with a floral character and notes of raspberries and honey. The finish is tart with a bitter berry aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Brothers Drake on 10/8/12. Clear blush color with no head and minimal legs. Aroma of raspberry, honey and dry white wine. Raspberry wine flavor with some honey character before a dry, bitter finish.
