Taster on tap at the meadery. Almost completely clear color. Slight hue of yellow. Great honey, slight floral aroma in the nose. Moderate sweet taste, light bit of bitterness, good dryness. Medium to bigger body. Smooth texture, little to no carbonation, but good lightly dry finish makes it smooth and easy to sip. Alcohol is very well hidden. Fantastic, balanced mead.

Draft to taster at the meadery. Looks good; a still light honey. Smells sweet and hoppy with notes of pine, citrus, and honey. Tastes like it smells, but not as hoppy. Solid on the palate. A solid spin on the style.

Bottle share at Hampton Inn pre-DLD party. Pour is pale yellow with no head. Aroma is of honey, earth, and floral hops. Flavor is a bit earthy with notes of floral hops, dark honey, booze, and pine. Reminds me of a pale ale mixed with a mead.

Sample at beverage source, pale yellow with ok legs. Aroma is honey and some earthy hop notes. Taste is very white wine like, herbal hops and some honey sweetness but overall its pretty dry. Not too bad but i prefer sweeter meads.

Bottle pour. Pale yellow pour. The aroma is very herbal and clean. Smells sweet and herbal at the same time in an interesting way. Again, this one is dangerous.

On draft at 1808. Pours a still yellow-white color. Nose is some piney hops with some citrus notes, light honey and a mild ooze character. Flavor follows with a bit of booze, some light honey and some hoppy piney character. I understand what they were after, but it just did not resonate with me on this one. Light to medium in body and ok overall.

Draft. Poured clear golden color with good legs. Moderate to heavy dark honey and floral hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth rich texture. Medium dark honey and citrus flavor with a rich bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Pleasing rich flavor.

Sample from a bottle. Clear yellow pour with no head and no legs. Nose of honey and hops. Musty dry white wine flavor with a hoppy finish. Not my thing. I like hops in my beer, but not so much in my mead.
