Sampled at the Tip Top Kitchen in Columbus. Still and a pink blush color out of the bottle. Light raspberry jelly nose. Flavors of honey and raspberry. This is very dry, with an odd bitterness that I didn’t expect. Natural raspberry flavors.

Sample at Brothers Drake. Clear orange in color. Honey aroma with some berry notes and grape character. Flavor is herbal and floral with a bitter finish. Not bad, but dry meads just aren’t my thing.

Sample at the Meadery. This Mead is a clear reddish-Topaz color with decent legs. Raspberry aroma that has some medicinal notes. Semi-dry body with flavors of tart raspberry offset a little by honey and floral notes. Raspberry aftertaste with a slight cough syrup character. Decent overall.

Sampled at teh meadery. Pretty rose pour. Sweet aroma of berries and honey. Flavor was sweet intitialy with super dry finish.

Sampled at Brothers Drake Dinner at the Meadery.Poured a pinkish translucent color.Nose was floral, honey, citrus, and berries.Flavor was dry with a touch of sweet.This finished off semi dry.

Pours light pink (almost the color of rose wine). Aroma of Raspberries, very dry with just a bit of sweetness from the berries. Finishes very light.

Admittedly not a mead connoisseur, from a layman’s perspective this reminded me a lot of a pleasant yet dry blush rose wine, with a tinge of sweetness from fresh raspberry. Definitely a drier mead, this would be a great accompaniment to light fare.
