oh6gdx (6343), Vaasa, Finland Oct 2, 2008 Bottled@Monks Café, Stockholm. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is malts, hops and some slight grainy notes. Flavour is very much the same with some bigtime earthy notes. Didn’t see the bottle for a BBE, but tasted a bit like it might have passed it’s prime. cgarvieuk (2544), Edinburgh, Scotland Aug 19, 2008 Bottle at Chris o’s… pale yellow ... light wattery nose ... light easy hop ... little dry maeib (4012), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Apr 17, 2008 Bottled. A slighlty hazy gold coloured lager with a rocky white head. The aroma is sweet and pukey. A whiff of grass lifts it from the downright nasty. More puke in the taste. Pretty nasty and sickly. It’s a bit ugh. Whelk (124), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England Feb 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy straw-gold with a white head. Aroma is fruit (apricot) and grainy malt. Flavors are grainy malt dominated with light fruit from the hops. Some corn as well. Must have had an old bottle, as there was also a bit of wet cardboard and it was a little watery. Doppelganger (1206), Oxford, Oxfordshire, England Oct 18, 2007 Bottle, Odd Bins, Oxford. Very pale gold, sticky white cap. Grassy, herbal hops and caramel accented white bread. Soft, sweet malt, nice chewy medicinal hops. Surprising amount of flavor. Surprisingly well pull together.
