Bottle into Footed Pilsner. Pours the color of kidney failure urine, although there is a decent white head. Aroma is... ? Almost none, maybe a bit of roasty malts. Flavor is roasted malt, but not in the good way, and Iron Curtain. Seriously. Like licking a piece of metal that someone crumbled a stale biscuit over. Just dreadful. Tastes nothing like a Pilsner, except perhaps just wee bit of the right hoppiness groaning under the weight of dreck. Did I forget anything? Oh, right: palate. Oily, nasty. Simply as bad a beer as I’ve ever had. Flavor characteristics actually did this beer a disservice. It would have been better off tasting bland and nondescript like a bad macro. Shame on Trader Joe’s for importing this when there’s a trade deficit. And shame on me: I actually drank the whole bottle.

Jul 3, 2008 I didn’t think this was bad but i am not very familiar with pilseners yet. i liked the bready malts but the hops were lacking. really fast finish. sort of weird metallic aftertaste too. still not bad.

Jul 1, 2008 12 oz. bottle courtesy of drewbeerme. Pours a clear straw color with a small disappearing white head. The aroma has light sweet malt, a hint of fruit, and dusty grass. The flavor is light sweet malt, grass, and dust with the dust being the major player. I am not a fan of pilsners, but this is really not very good.

Jun 24, 2008 Deep amber with 2 inch white head, no lacings. Taste Saaz hops dominate the sweet malts. Nice dry bitter finish. An O.K. brew.

May 18, 2008 12 oz bottle from Trader Joes. Pours a copper color with a white head that quickly vanishes. The aroma is of sweet malts. The flavor is watered down sweet malts with a touch of biter hops. The mouthfeel is unimpressive as the beer pretty much went flat in five minutes. The finish is short with lingering saccharine. Overall: not recommended.

Aroma – Very light Pils aroma. More malt and very light hops.
Appearance – Light golden in color, decent head and clear.
Flavor – A decent beer had a good flavor nothing to special. Average grain build.
Palate – OK Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A good beer for a hot day and nothing to special to note about this beer.
