Pungent, grassy citrus, lightly vegetal hop nose. Clear, copper coloured body is topped by a decent, off white head that recedes to partial cover and ring. Aggressive bitterness is not quite supported by the malt base. Hop flavours are shop and somewhat vegetal and spicy. Citrus character does not follow through to the flavour. No fruity esters and very dry malt body. Bitterness lingers on the tongue in the aftertaste. Dry medium body with very strong, pointy carbonation. Sampled at Mondial 2006.

Bu au Festival Bière et Découvertes, en fut. Couleur thé, petit collet. Bon arome amère avec un soupson d’houblon. Petit bon goût d’houblon avec une amertume plaisant.

This A.P.A. has a nice head.It also has a citrusy flavor with some sweet caramel taste also. You can smell the malty aroma. The bitter finsh has a nice long lasting taste. Bravo Brouemont.

Golden ale with a thick white head. Nice c-hops in aroma, with caramel and biscuitty notes. In mouth, a fresh crisp malty ale with a good floral hops, very nice and in style. Merci Patrick! Mondial 2006.

Sampled draught at the Mondial de la Bière in Montreal, 2006. A decent little lasting head tops the medium caramel-amber body....pungent PNW hop nose, agressive and very fresh, somewhat farmy, woody, with a rainy-spruce-forest feel to it....fairly bitter throughout though the malt is rich and full enough; quite woody and dry near the finish.....somewhat on the heavy side, the carbonation is thick and its a little too burp-inducing....not really enough malt sweetness overall IMHO; the bitterness and dryness gets a bit cottony and harsh at the very end when it’s warmed up...still, I’m picking nits -- this is a solid beer.

Mondial de la Bière de Montréal; Foamy head, malty/wheaty aroma. I personnaly felt no bitterness in this beer. Great malty taste. A good beer to drink when its hot outside.

[ draught at the brewpub ; chilled ]
A fully diminushing small frothy white head that tops up a clear light golden body. No lacing. No particules. Few medium bubbles. Aroma presents malt being light cereal/light caramel but supports well the moderate flowerish hops. Also, there are faint notes of diacetyl. Initial flavor is moderate bitter Finish is medium and bitterness. Light to medium body... oily texture... Soft carbonation...

Clear golden pour with a medium white head. Divine aroma of floral and citrusy hops. Excellent flavor of floral and citrusy hops with caramel malts that are robust enough to give a sense of balance, the bitter finish is very long lasting. The body has a light to medium thickness with an oily texture and strong carbonation. Cool, another gem from this great brewpub.
