Shinny, twinkling, citrus fruit and cereal nose. A beautiful and soft bitterness that disappears smoothly behind of veil of sweetness The flaunt is pretty long for a smooth beer.

A hazy yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with hints of honey, while the flavor is sweet malty and again with notes of honey, but also with hints of caramel.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2004 Diacetyl projects sweet buttery perfumes...Worty dough playing within the watery ending...Some citrus fruit amongst the diacetyl...Boring, but with a purpose...

(Rating #9)

tiggmtl (4548) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 6, 2004
Fruity and buttery aroma. Far too much diacetyl for a lager. Clear blonde-golden body with thin, white, fully-diminishing head. Crisp palate with decent carbonation. Some strong diacetyl in the flavour also with a rather yeasty finish. Fairly hoppy with decent bitterness. Light refreshing mouthfeel. Diacetyl would be a bit much in an ale (which this seems more like due to the fruitiness) and is definitely out of place for a lager. On tap at the brewpub with MartinT, muzzlehatch and Taktik_MTL.

Sample at the brewpub with MartinT, tiggmtl, Taktik_MTL. Very clear gold, touch of head. Corn-sweet, lightly butterscotchy (diacetyl, though not as strong for me as for some), hints of cherry...fairly bland flavor, some fruitiness and hints of hops, decent body.

Golden blonde hue, with an off-white head, nice fresh cereal nose, with a sweet honeyish pale malt note, hint of vanilla spiciness in the aroma follows through on a light-bodied palate with a crisp fruity pale malt, with a mild flowery hop accent, leading towards a lingering mild dry hoppiness finish.

(automne 2006)

[ Sampler at the brewpub (4oz) ; chilled ]
A fully diminushing small fizzy white head that tops up a clear light yellow body. No lacing. No particules. No bubbles Heavy filtration. Aroma presents malt being light sweet cereal (I didn’t notice butter) while hops are barely noticeable herbs. Also, there are faint notes of vanilla and caramel. Flavor is medium sweet while development is unpersistant. sweet. Finish is short. Light body... watery texture... Soft carbonation...
