COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Keg; Pasteurised. Broughton Best is produced in the genre of the "smooth" beers. It has a very low carbonation level and is dispensed using a top pressure of "mixed gas" : nitrogen and carbon dioxide. The result is a bright, clear, very easy drinking beer with a close white head which will last all the way down the glass, lacing the sides of the glass as it is drunk. At 3.8% ABV Broughton Best is a good session beer with a pleasant malt flavour and hop bitterness. Major ingredients are:- Optic Pale Ale Malt and Roast Barley. Hops used are English grown Challenger, Fuggles and First Gold.
