Boystout (824), Chisinau, Moldova Aug 12, 2004 You should give it more than one try to really appreciate it. Pale/orange colour, no head to write of, slightly rotten malty and herbal hoppy aroma, mouthful of sweet malts, bitter hops and alcohol. Probably, the best organic ale I’ve ever tasted. gowdy (145), Ferney-Voltaire, France Jan 4, 2009 Bottle at parents house. hay, grass, golden, hazy, aminimal head, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, creamy, MiP (6723), Flensburg, Germany Mar 12, 2006 Bottle. Gusher?! Nice, candyish, flowery hop aroma. Almost clear golden colour without much head. Quite nice hop flavour, a lot like the aroma, and sweet. Nice bitterness. High carbonation. This would make a cracking cask ale. rauchbier (2882), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Jun 18, 2003 Bottled. Gold colour, moderate thin white head, moderate condition. Good sweet malty nose, almost like a Bavarian Helles except for a delicate hop note. Full bodied and malty with a nutty edge and some hop flavour but a slightly offputting dry burnt taste develops that lingers into the aftertaste. Still, it has a lot more taste than most organic beers Ive tried.
leaparsons (4180), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Jul 18, 2002 A very good organic! Biscuits and fruit combine with a touch of sweetened coffee. Clean palate with a bitter finish and alcohol vapours.
