Cask conditioned at the Halfway House, Edinburgh. Deep golden colour, moderate creamy head. Moderate aroma, some hops and malt vinegar. Hoppy flavour on a tolerable malty base, quite nice.

Re-rate, August 2006, cask (handpull) Alex Hotel, Derby.Far better; decent hoppy nose and clean citric flavours.

Original rating: 2.5 Gravity at Olde Dolphin Inn Beer Festival, Derby. Orange-to-yellow body, average bitterness, ticks the right boxes without overperforming.

Straw coloured with a cereal-grassy scent. Nice mouthfeel. Not exactly carbonated, but enough to tingle one’s tongue! Honey and some grass in the mouth. Bitter-sweet and not too dry. Rather good.

Cask conditioned – handpump – GBBF. A bright golden coloured beer with a whitish head. The aroma is lemony and hoppy and quite pleasant and fresh. The taste is yeasty and hoppy. Quite bitter and nicely tasty
