rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden Aug 30, 2007 (RBESG 2007, Cask at the Halfway House, Edinburgh) Amber/golden color, white head. Hoppy, metallic aroma. Hoppy, grassy flavor with some metallic notes. Some malts are found too, citric and quite dry. Sigmund (2197), Hafrsfjord, Norway Aug 29, 2007 Cask conditioned at the Halfway House, Edinburgh. Deep golden colour, moderate creamy head. Moderate aroma, some hops and malt vinegar. Hoppy flavour on a tolerable malty base, quite nice. mountainforest (111), Edinburgh, Scotland Jun 18, 2007 Tasted at the 2007 Beer Festival in Edinburgh Scotland. Not worth the money. Golden colour. Floral hop. Not a clean aftertaste. Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Jun 16, 2007 STBF07. Aroma is biscuity malts hints of sweetness, some grassy hops. Taste is similar grassy and biscuity without being very exciting at all. Maybe theres wheat in here? Gr0ve (1382), Oslo, Norway Oct 12, 2006 1/2 pint cask, Guildford, Edinburgh. Brilliant golden in colour and with a light reddish hue. Small creamy, but not entirely consistent head. Light malty and somewhat sourish from hops. Mouthfeel is smooth and flat, but with a nicely balanced dose of crisp hops. Hops are slightly citrusy and a little grassy. Some malt, but it is the hops that dominate this beer, which I guess it should as it is an IPA. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia Sep 6, 2006 Cask (GBBF 2006): Gold with a white head. Citric aroma. A bit fruity in flavour with some citrusy hops and clean biscuity malt. Nice. duff (5474), Surrey, Greater London, England Sep 1, 2006 Cask@GBBF06. Some OK flavour in here, but there is not enough. Quite hoppy/flowery, with subtle grapefruit notes. Quite clean, perhaps a bit too much so. harrisoni (6703), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 15, 2006 Cask at GBBF 2006. Golden with off white lasting head. Yeast and some citrus on aroma. Not that great a beer. Some hop on head.
