3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ungstrup (23960) - Oamaru, - DEC 23, 2005
[Cask at GBBF 2005] A hazy orange beer with a slight orange head. The aroma is a combination of hops and oranges on a malty background, while the flavor is malty and fruity with oranges standing out, and with a dry hoppy end, but a thin body.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 dogbomb (277) - ENGLAND - APR 13, 2012
Cask. A frosty golden beer with a nice lasting white top. Crisp toffee notes and strawberry in the nose. Strawberries and cream right through the body of the drink with fresh kiwi. Not much of a finish, besides a freshness.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 flying_pig (338) - SCOTLAND - MAR 23, 2012
Cask (Pint):
Quite a hoppy aroma to begin with, along with some summer fruit smells and a touch of grassy hop. There was a little lemon and citrus too.
Crystal clear, well almost and very light coloured amber with a pinky sized, foamy white head that has good retention.
Grassy hops & summer fruits, some dried fruits and berry. There is also a bit of citrus and a rather bitter finish that wasn’t exactly to my liking and the beer itself was rather bland.
Smooth but flat. There is a lot of bitter towards the tail end and the finish is a dry one.
Being not much of a cask fan, again I found this offering to be pretty bland tasting and flat as well as well below average.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 tombyars (1102) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - OCT 11, 2011
First tasted this in Gabriels, Paisley in June 1997. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear gold in colour with a thin white head. Zesty lemon rind in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a weak biscuit base laced with citrus fruit notes of lime, lemon and grapefruit. Dry lemony hops compliment the malt in the sharp aftertaste. Good bitter sweet balance with light marmalde notes. An ok session IPA, better than Caley IPA!

@ Abbotsford, Edinburgh. Golden amber. Not much aroma. Light toasty with some stale tobacco notes, maybe a mineral accent. Dryish beer but otherwise nothing special. Some juicy notes late help out.
