Cask; Status uncertain. Watch out for this evil character… Borders legends say the Dunter, a malevolent red-capped goblin, inhabits ruined castles and guards the English-Scottish borders from intruders. This evil creature is impossible to outrun, but we like to think he’ll let you pass if you have share a wee dram of his potion. The truth of this legend will never be known, however, it is irrefutable that the Dark Dunter is bursting of oatmeal and chocolate aromas, complemented by dark roasted malts and a rich aftertaste. Using over six grains gives this beer an evil malty bite.

Cask at JDW Foot of the Walk. Nose is bitter malts, caramel, light berries. Pours deep ruby with creamy beige head. Taste is red berries, caramel malts, sweet toffee, light liquorice. I dont see it as a stout but I see it better than a low abv cask stout. And obviously in good condition even in JDW.
