3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 WeissGary (22) - Arbroath, SCOTLAND - MAY 22, 2012
Quite a thick yet medium bodied ale with a redish-black appearance and a wonderfully thick creamy and frothy yellowing head. Biscuit-like aroma, soft and creamy tasting sensation. - This is not a bad ale, it’s quite an easy and soft drink and is worth trying out if you see it.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BeerCast_Rich (1202) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 14, 2012
[500ml bottle] Pours a clear nut-brown with a large slightly off-white head. Gentle aroma of sweet, malted milk biscuits and caramel toffee. On the flavour, it begins quite sweet but quickly a faint bitterness arrives. Very drinkable – tastes like toasted caramel, nuts, some brown sugar but with a bitter, slightly earthy finish [13052012]

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jerc (5588) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 29, 2010
2009-01-29. Dark brown body, modes beige head. 3+ Aroma has a dark nutty malt character to it, light toasty roast touches to it. 6+ Flavour is similar, sweet malt care, dry nutty toasty overtones. Very light bitterness throughout lingers a bit in the finish. 6+ Average palate feels thin for this beer. Okay, feels more like a sweet brown ale than an 80 shilling. Okay, simple.
