Cask; Regular. Previously 3.8% and 3.7%.
A light coloured, refreshing ale from the land of the Border Reivers. A session ale full of character, brewed with a subtle use of Crystal Malt and generous use of the aroma hop, 1st Gold.

cask - Pours mostly clear gold with a lasting white head that laces heavily. It smells of bready malt and oddly I got a whiff of sulfur. The flavor is sweet bready malt with mild, lingering hops bitterness. It’s a decent, unremarkable brew.

Flavor is light moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090410]
