Very black stout, no head. Small roasted aroma but with minimum flavour, however it is certainly a drinkable session ale.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DarkSideOfBeer (11) - Padova, ITALY - DEC 19, 2012
Bottiglia. Interpretazione scozzese di una oatmeal stout, color rubino/marrone intenso, retrogusto di caffè e di torrefatto, leggermente troppo frizzante per il genere ma nel complesso buona e beverina

Bottle. Dark brown colour with small beige head that dissolves completly. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, coffee. Sweet taste at the start turns into lightly bitter with short finish duration. For the stout, I would expect more densely beer than it is... but it’s OK beer.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Beesbeer (349) - WALES - AUG 5, 2012
Hints of autumn aroma. Lovely deep silky smokiness and warmth, peat bogs and the apetite for oat cakes and mackerel. Lovely smooth creamy porridge head. One bottle is not enough.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 maxwelldeux (2220) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - AUG 1, 2012
Pours a very thick and very dark brown with a moderate head to it. Thick and heavy on the palate. Tastes empty - a little bitter without the balance that comes with a lot of stouts.
4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Weefannybaws (37) - Paisley, SCOTLAND - JUL 15, 2012
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2012 A superbly dark ale. Roasted barley on the nose. Chocolate, malt and spiciness to taste, with a delicious spiced fruit after-taste. A fine Scottish ale.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 AirForceHops (1850) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 31, 2012
500ml bottle. Labeled as “Kinmount Willie” Perfect poor into an English pint. Lush, thick tan head. Spotty retention. Nice looking stout. All aromas are real light. Chocolate malt and light coffee and cream nose. Flavor is an exact copy of the aroma. Mild brown sugar. Texture is creamy with a dry finish. This would be significantly better on cask. Other than a thin body; no problems at all. Can be enjoyable.
