Cask Stillage at the Crown Hotel, Malton 11/12/2004 (ABV 3.9%) Amber golden coloured with a little sour fruit flavour and a dry lasting malt finish.

First tasted this in the Ale House, Paisley in September 1991. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale amber in colour with a thick foam head. Good hop prickle in the dusty aroma. Thin light refreshing mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt base gives a light digestive biscuit note but little else. Strong hop resins give a big bitter dryness in the citric aftertaste. Strong grapefruit flavours are present in the dry finish. An ok session bitter but the Greemantle is more to my taste.
