Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
Ingredients: Optic Pale Ale Malt and Crystal Malt; English grown Fuggles, First Gold and Challenger hops, with German Hallertau Brewers Gold as a late copper aroma hop.
"Originally the Clan Chiefs bearer, who stood behind him in battle, The Ghillie today is a much respected, pithy character who guides sportsmen of the world on the salmon and trout rivers of Scotland."

Bottle at ÅBF08. Grassy hop aroma, grainy. Clear amber colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is also grainy, hint of graasy hops.

Amber with a white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Some yeastiness early on. Strong, rough malt taste, sour with a hint of marmite. Late bitterness. A really full beefy bitter. Good.

Århus2008. 50 cL bottle. Pours golden amber and clear with a lacing white head. Mild fruity and spiced hops aroma. Flavour is mild malty and mouldy hops note with a light spice angle. Dry bitterness into the finish. Dry and bitter finish with a mild fruity touch into the far finish.
