Hazy reddish brown ale with a thin white head. Pleasant coriandrr and honey, very Unibroeue styled. In mouth, rich malt with coriander notes, cloves and ginger. Goes well with the Fol Épi cheese. Medium to ric bodied. Bottle 6 months old from Joanette. Excellent. Merci Marc B.!

Cloudy dark yellow until the dregs came out--left a brown poo stain on the top--must be the orange or something. Nice white foam Aroma: very fruity with sweet malt. Orange, strawberry, lychee, corriander. Dry at first, but becoming sweet near the end. A bit tangy flavour with lots of fruity goodness including obvious orange and corriander. Refreshing hops flavours and bittering come in at the end. Medium body and slightly warming. Medium carbonation. This beer is a touch too fruty and sweet but otherwise very good.

Bottle from Dépanneur Le Gobelet. Deep muddy orange-brown in colour, thin off-white coloured head. The aroma was of spice, oranges, some pepper, light sourness. The flavour was heavily spiced, lots of lemon citrus sourness, yeasty, floral. Full creamy mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes lingering, slightly sour.

UPDATED: JUN 12, 2009 Rerated at Mondiale 09. Looked better than from the bottle, thought it was a very solid Wit and will bump up the 3.2 accordingly.
Bottle shared with jerc. Hazy dark yellow, huge white head. Nice lemon aroma. Weird honey/wheat taste. Medium syrupy mouthfeel. Taste is almost maple syrup like. Not bad, a little unbalanced but interesting and quite drinkable. Thanks jerc.

Aroma is sourish wheat, and fruit. Apricot colour with a foamy little head. Taste is somewhat sour for a wit. Smooth, tart. Average.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2013 2013-06-01. Murky orange pastel body, tiny white head. 3+ Flavour is fruity, muddled citrus, light wheat character. 7+ Yeasty wheat aroma, modest fruity citrus. 7+ Smooth average plus palate, low carbonation. Nice for a cask despite the lack of carbonation. Enjoyable, citrus character adds positively to the overall impression. Enjoyable. 7/3/7/3/14-15 On cask at Benelux, Montreal
2005-08-XX. Dark hazy golden pastel yellow body with a big fluffy white head. (3+) The head is attractive but made me worry it might be infected, thankfully the aroma and taste did not give that impression. Tart aroma of mild lemon and citrus, touch of yeasty funk. Flavour has an initial tart bite up front with an underlying sweetness and lemony notes throughout. Average palate. Not great but surprisingly quenching on a warm day. 6/4/6/3/13 - 3.2 Bottle from Metro Joanette. </I<

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2008 The Lure:
A blond-orange gown greets the eyes, topped with ample, sticky foam. Leaping coriander seeds and slightly citrusy fruitiness coexist in harmony, as wheat and spices frolick all around.
A perfect carbonation, fluffy but comfortable, sends over a very flavorful interplay of coriander, fruity yeast, leafy hops and milky sweetness. The finale is equally succulent, introducing mild herbal hop bitterness into the already very active flavor display. This is a textbook Witbier, expertly rendered.

2.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cloudy orange colour and a white fizzy head. The aroma is very appetizing. Big orange juice notes, citrusy and nicely sweet. Unfortuneately like many other wits, the body just doesn’t carry through with it’s promise. Spritzy and very sweet with malt - citrusy and lightly yeasty, really just not much to captivate.
