(Bottle) Purchased at Depanneur Peluso, Montreal. Pours a medium, white, frothy head that dissipates quickly and a greyish-gold body. The nose of this beer is one of the finest I have ever smelled on a Wit - Passion fruit, oranges, nutmeg, green tea, pumpkin and wheat. The flavours transcend rather nicely with lemon, wheat and coriander manning the frontline while a reserve of pepper stands back and observes. I really like how this is put together. Cheers!

Ok, I may be a bit objective. But I really like this White. Nice citrus aroma that changes as the keg gets older to banana and finally cooked banana. And I think this doesn’t change that it is a great beer. Most refreshing when young and a bit more warming when older.

[5467-20130601] Cask. Sweet orange lemon aroma. Murky, light orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Bitter orange juicy hops flavour has a great underlying muted bitter base. Medium body. Delicious, very drinkable. (8/3-/9/4/16) 4.0

Bottle: Poured a quite dark yellow color wit with a large head with average retention. Aroma of wheat is mix with coriander and citrus. Taste is stronger then usual witbier with lots of coriander, pepper and a citrus/grassy aspect also. Wheat is clearly identifiable and very enjoyable. Body is more full then your average witbier and also I noticed that the beer is quite hazy. I like my wit to have character and this one doesn’t miss…

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2008 The Lure:
A blond-orange gown greets the eyes, topped with ample, sticky foam. Leaping coriander seeds and slightly citrusy fruitiness coexist in harmony, as wheat and spices frolick all around.

The Festivities:
A perfect carbonation, fluffy but comfortable, sends over a very flavorful interplay of coriander, fruity yeast, leafy hops and milky sweetness. The finale is equally succulent, introducing mild herbal hop bitterness into the already very active flavor display. This is a textbook Witbier, expertly rendered.

On tap at Brouhaha.

Cloudy dark yellow until the dregs came out--left a brown poo stain on the top--must be the orange or something. Nice white foam Aroma: very fruity with sweet malt. Orange, strawberry, lychee, corriander. Dry at first, but becoming sweet near the end. A bit tangy flavour with lots of fruity goodness including obvious orange and corriander. Refreshing hops flavours and bittering come in at the end. Medium body and slightly warming. Medium carbonation. This beer is a touch too fruty and sweet but otherwise very good.

Hazy reddish brown ale with a thin white head. Pleasant coriandrr and honey, very Unibroeue styled. In mouth, rich malt with coriander notes, cloves and ginger. Goes well with the Fol Épi cheese. Medium to ric bodied. Bottle 6 months old from Joanette. Excellent. Merci Marc B.!
