750ml bottle.
Appearance : Dark amber with thin head. No lacing.
Aroma : Raspberries with light roasted malt. Light chocolate. Light mint.
Taste : Nice raspberries with light roasted malt, some chocolate. Light raspberries on finish.
Palate : A bit dull. Carbonation is quite flat.
Overall : Interesting fruity notes. Interesting chocolate. Fairly simple and bit boring.

Bottle 750ml
Aroma: plenty of raspberry with secondary chocolate , gently tart. Aromatic menthol on top.
Apperance: cloudy brown , black with creamy beige top.
Taste/Palate etc. Medium light bodied. Mint chocolate is quiet intense here, followed with true feel of raspberry. Solid brew.

Pours black with a reddish tinge, thin topping. Roast and raspberry aroma, wafting raspberry aroma. A little thin. A fruity raspberry tartness that builds up with sugar and peppermint. Trying to be not too sweet nor bitter nor sour. Thanks for sharing Radek.

Bouteille 750 ml. 7.5%. Couleur noire, mousse beige.

On tap at Brouhaha, pours black with small light brown head. Aroma of raspberries, slight mint and some cocoa powder - some spicy notes as well. Flavour of sour raspberries, obscuring everything else going on - not much of the mint or chocolate detectable. Quite tart and a mess - not cohesive at all. I usually can’t stand sour stouts and this one is no exception. Again, a big mess.

Dark brown colour. Lots of framboise in the aroma. The palate has a lot of raspberry as well, and the tartness complements the chocolate, even if the flavours aren’t going together as well as they should.

@Mondial de la Bière 2012, Montreal - dark black beer with a strong roasted, malty coffeish aroma with notes of raspberries taking its place gradually; sticky and quite full-bodied; very dry with some candi-like sweetness and a hint of acidity; raspberries appear in front in the aftertaste leaving the stout characteristic this time behind
