3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 robinvboyer (2197) - Sturgeon Falls, - JUL 14, 2011
On tap au mondiale 2011. Great resinous piney hop aroma, with a touch of grassy malt. Regular mouthfeel, if anything a touch thin for a dipa. Great bitterness, and hoppy citrus finish with a touch of soapiness from the high alpha hops. Nice beer.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 rodenbach99 (1915) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - APR 9, 2011
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 SlovakSniper (1349) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - APR 8, 2011

Solid aroma of sandy, resinous hops (Simcoe?), the hops feel really fresh. Pours an amber color with a medium white head. Very good flavor of sandy, resinous hops that feel very fresh and floral too, there’s bitterness in the end. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. Very good.

On tap at the brewpub, amber-orange color, with a thin white head, yeasty, fruity nose of peach, apricot, orange, tangerine peel esters, with some hints of floral, herbal dill leaf, and some hop, leafy piney accents and some faint toasted, biscuity malt aromas follow through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, apricot, zesty, herbal, flowery hop resiny, piney character, with a spritzy, minty leafiness, pine bark accent, leading towards a warming, fruity, peachy, apricot, zesty lemony, hop piney, leafy bitterness finish.

Clear saturated blonde with a nice whitish head. Loads of herbal hops surges from the glass. Meedium body, very oily, nice bitterness and floral hops flavors. Quite easy drinking double IPA. Altough it says belgian style 2IPA, the yeasty flavors are almost absent, if not for a little bubble gum flavor coming trough in mid palate. Quite nice...

Cloudy orange-copper in colour with a thin white head, good lacing.
Aroma is very hoppy, caramel malt sweetness, moderate orange citrus.
Flavour is again quite hoppy, orange and grapefruit citrus, quite sweet as well with lots of caramel.
Some alcohol in the mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation.
Finishes hoppy, long and sweet.
A very drinkable IIPA, good balance as well. I liked this quite a bit.
Draught at Mondial 2009 in Montreal, Quebec.
Sampled on June 5, 2009.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 LadySusan (617) - Ste-Therese, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 28, 2009
On tap at Brouhaha. The color is ruby with an off white head. The aroma is of hops but not that strong. The taste is also hops and also molasse, with added fruits. As for being a double I.P.A. something is missing not enough bitterness for my taste.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 HogTownHarry (4872) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 25, 2009
Draught. At Mondial 2009 - day 1. Hazy amber with a solid creamy/frothy beige head. Bitter aroma of resin and tangerine zest, leafy with a very sweet malt underpinning. The taste is dryer than the aroma, the leafiness of the hops comes through more - it’s very bitter, right on the edge of harshness. Average body, somewhat carbonized mouthfeel, but a commendably long drawn-out bitter finish: solid, ultimately the harshness faded, I was left with a "well done" and "balanced" thought/note.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 16, 2009
A reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. A light restrained c-hops aroma, fruity esters. In mouth, a smooth ale with silky hops, all restrained and enjoyable, with biscuitty malts melding well with the hops. On tap at Brouhaha, June 2009.
